Day 1: Vacate Kampala/Entebbe for Murchison Falls Tour – Launch Trip
Start your day with an early breakfast in either Kampala or Entebbe.Depart for Murchison Falls National Park, which is located in the North-western circuit of Uganda. The journey will take approximately 5-6 hours, with a brief stopover in Luweero to purchase fresh fruits.Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll enjoy the cool weather at Kaniyo-Pabidi forest.Check-in at your chosen lodge for a relaxed lunch.At 2:00 pm, embark on a Launch/Boat cruise along the Victoria Nile. During the cruise, you’ll have the opportunity to observe various wildlife, including Nile Crocodiles, Hippos, and aquatic birds like cattle egrets, kingfishers, skimmers, fish eagles, and bee eaters.You can also opt for a trek to the top of Murchison Falls to enjoy a panoramic view of the surroundings.In the evening, you’ll be picked up by your driver guide and transferred back to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Safari Game Drive & Return to Kampala via Luweero
Start the day with an early morning guided game drive.After having breakfast, you’ll embark on a 3-4 hour guided game drive along the Northern game trails of Murchison Falls National Park. This is a great opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, Rothschild giraffes, water bucks, Oribis, buffaloes, Jackson’s hartebeest, birds, and warthogs. For the best game viewing experience, you’ll be traveling in a 4WD safari car with a pop-up roof.After the game drive, return to your lodge to check out.You’ll then be transferred back to either Kampala or Entebbe to conclude your 2-day Murchison Falls safari adventure.
